Care Lamps Horizontal Stand

I really want to give this 5 stars, because it enables me to lie on my bed to use my red lamp. But the reason I have only given it 3 is because the design needs to be improved. There is no flexibility with this stand and hence no versatility. It needs to have a hinge on the bend, so that the lamp can be lifted and lowered into position. Because the mount is in one place, it is very difficult to get under the lamp, especially when you want the lamp close to you for maximum effect. It is great that it is on wheels, because that allows you to wheel the stand towards you and away. However, this is no good for someone with muscle/joint weakness in their arms, necks, shoulders, or problems with nerve endings etc. For anyone else though, this might eradicate the problems that I am encountering. However, it is so much more comfortable using the lamp lying down, and for that reason, I thoroughly recommend it..

I do 10 mins daily haven’t noticed anything

I'm really pleased I bought the horizontal stand as it enables me to lay down when I use the light panel. This makes the light treatment even more comfortable. The stand is study, and was pretty easy to assemble, and to adjust. It's also easy to move around as it's on castors. My next purchase will be a smaller, follow-on lamp that the stand can house alongside the existing/larger light panel. Caroline L.

I prefer it stood upright as horizontally I can’t lower enough to get the 6 inch proximity and it isn’t a 2 minute adjustment process - I need my husband to adjust the nuts and bolts etc
